Courage, Trust and Europe’s Future

🇺🇸 When I lived and worked at 1 Fifth Avenue in New York, I learned something that has never left me:

the world doesn’t move forward through caution – it moves forward through courage.

New York trained me in clarity, speed, and decisive action.

Back in Germany, I saw how deeply hesitation runs through our culture. Till today.

And with tariffs back on the table and transatlantic trust under pressure – this difference is no longer cultural.
It is strategic.

This is not about agreeing or disagreeing with Trump, or with any other leader.

It is about rediscovering our own strength.

For Germany – and for Europe – that strength is trust.

But trust only matters when it is communicated with courage:

 Clearer.
 With self confidence
 With perspective – not fear.

It is about making trust tangible.

But without courage – no bridge gets built.
